New World of Work – Self Awareness “What Not to Do”

[music] Hi. I am John. Great to meet you. Thanks for coming,
and why don’t you have a seat. John, I’d love to figure out if this position
is in fact going to be a good fit for you. Why don’t you tell me a little bit
about your strengths. My strengths? Your skills, areas that you excel in. For instance,
how are you at meeting deadlines? Excellent. And decisions under pressure? It comes very easily to me. I am also a very pragmatic problem solver. I really excel at finding solutions
using the tools I have available. It will be much faster
if we don’t take the windy curvy road, but instead, travel along a straight line. But there’s no road there.
What we need are hover cars. John, can I be honest with you? It is refreshing to meet someone
who has such a profound knowledge of themself. It’s very important that I represent
myself accurately, otherwise it just wastes your time
and my time, and I hate wasting time. Why didn’t you call for a re-shoot? -That sounds hard.
-But the commercial is horrible. I’ve never been to a Tyler Perry movie. I hate sushi. -Top of the morning to you.
-What’s up. The ceiling. [music]
