South Florida Science Center and Aquarium Receives Outstanding Biz Partner Award 2019

For providing Palm Beach County School
District students with brain power… “Your brain is a muscle.” “The brain has four parts.” The South Florida Science Center and
Aquarium, is the recipient of an Outstanding Business Partner Award. “At
the icon of all science, that is the School District feels that way about us
is, is wonderful, it’s enthralling, we’re so pleased we have been chosen.” And Palm
Beach County Schools, choose The Science Center, as a destination for field trips,
where students come face to face with dinosaurs, colorful fish and experience
what it’s like in a hurricane, and science center educators visit area schools and
conduct cool experiments. “They love to excite children with a WOW factor.” The
Science Center and Aquarium also hosts the annual engineering competition. 500
students compete for scholarship money in a number of fun and sometimes messy
events. “The South Florida Science Center’s mission, is to open every mind
to science. So we love to inspire them to go on to be scientists and engineers.”
Maybe even, an astronaut. Recently the Science Center hosted students, who got a
chance to ask out-of-this-world questions to an astronaut inside the
International Space Station. “What is your favorite thing to do in space, that feels
different than it does here on earth?” There is no limit to what can be
accomplished, thanks to the partnership of the School District and the South
Florida Science Center and Aquarium.
